More of my brain blowing up

Entering the world of being a webmaster (webmistress) has been one brain twist after another.

As I learn and implement one thing, I am exposed to another.... but not just that, new thoughts and ideas start to pop into my brain.

Landing pages, squeeze pages, call to action, info capture, graphics, reports, time, blog plan, page building...

Then the cost of it all. It is not cheap having a website I now realize. It is not cheap having a custom website most importantly.  A website I built and enjoy...

So two things this morning:

I watched the Ross Hair class on reports..... He is the founder/owner of SMMCAMP. I believe it was back in 2011 when I was being fully exposed to social media and online marketing when I first was introduced to this program. I knew the content was good as his speakers and guests were recognizable. I know I purchased the program.....

I also know I had unsubscribed from it many months later. For one, I don't think I was ready for the information and in a position to implement. (I was super busy with WCR to boot). The other being it was confusing. The subscription was changing and a few mishaps here and there with where to access what.........

I continued to receive Ross' emails and offers. In the stream of my inbox, I sort of blocked it out before I finally decided to re-discover SMMCAMP..... (btw, this confused me with SMMCATS... another local vendor). The message that finally hooked me was the 30 day Marketing Makeover.....

Since I was developing and building my very own self hosted word press site, I was in a discovery phase. I still did not click to register for a webinar.

Until early this morning with the topic being on reports....

How timely!!

I just subscribed to ALTOS (freaking awesome stuff here if  you are a data junkie).... Having access to all this data, the question immediately was, how do I share this info? Oh, and can I get SEO juice from it.

So I got stuck with a few things:

Power Point, video, and implementation.

So my inbox has this magical email about reports, which for about 8 days I was mulling over the "how to".... I boot up my go-to webinar on my mini iPad.....

The rest naturally fell into place. Ross' session hit it on the nose with where I was in my online marketing..... then he mentions tomorrow subject: SEO....

YES! I think I actually exclaimed that out loud.

SEO is another new discovery for me.

Suffice to say, I am newly subscribed to Ross membership, which screams volumes of items of value and at such a reasonable rate! ($20/month). I knew Ross was an excellent source of smart stuff, it just so happen I am now ready to hear it.

Second thing today, WORDCAMP registration just opened, so WORDCAMP, here I come!

Oh boy, the rabbit hole is deep......
